"Forget all about it" is one of Rundgren's most super melodic songs of all time--and this guy has written some incredibly great stuff through out his career; his 2004 album "Liars" gives testimony he's still got the gift.
The first two Nazz albums are lifetime favorites, but give Rundgren credit for knowing when it's time to move on and go solo..."A True Wizard, A True Star"

Truely, one of the "bands that SHOULD have made it big", but didn't. Love 'em! Luckily, Todd did go on to become a superstar.

Nazz first album has to rank in top ten of the Era. Our band ' butchered' versions of The Lemming Song; She's Goin'Down and Wildwood Blues! The entire album is genius! Those four lads could ROCK! Todd is a genius! I stole a whole lot of Mooneys wicked drumming stuff. What a great innovative drummer! I actually wore out a couple of vinyls and hunted all over 'til I found a copy in Germany of the CD! Still and always a FAVE! Thanks for playing their stuff on a regular basis! Love you guys!

"It's Not That Easy" very Anglophille, in an understated "Orpheus" way.

Nazz albums still sound good 20 years after I discovered them. Stewkey had a unique voice, and Todd Rundgren's growth as a writer can be clearly heard on "Nazz III," where his Laura Nyro influence comes to the fore.
Plus, they had a sense of humor with songs like "Meridian Leeward." "When I Get My Plane," and "Loosen Up."

consider the quality of the music
(structure-form-harmony-playing skills-melody)
and then figure that the average age of nazz was
18teen at the time of their 1st lp in 1968,
can you find someone so stunning in terms of paragon?
Todd ,Carson,Stewkey and Thom were blessed from above.
they were the perfect pop group, never to be replied
not even by zeppelin(who were older, smarter and wicked & business wise )
that Nazz in someway anticipated.
